IV. Checking in/out of the dorms
International dormitories are located at buildings 1, 2, and 4. Buildings 1 and 2 are located on campus, to the northwest of the Multi-Function (Zonghe) Building. Upon your arrival at Tongji, you should immediately go to your pre-assigned dormitory building for Check-In.
You will be asked for a RMB1500 deposit (This applies EVEN if you are a scholarship student) and for your admission notification forms. After this, you will be given your room key. Self-Pay students will also be required to pay their rent at this time.
Checking out of the dorms should be completed by July 31 (Spring) or January 31 (Fall). You must first make arrangements with the front desk of your dormitory for check out and room inspection prior to your leaving.
